Aurélien Loric rejoins Orrick as a partner and head of the Restructuring group in Paris. He joins with a team that includes François Wyon, Of Counsel, two associates and a consultant.

The team advises debt funds, hedge funds and other stakeholders (creditors, investors, buyers or debtors) in financial or operational restructurings, whether amicable or judicial. They also advise entrepreneurs, managers, companies and investors on corporate matters independent of restructuring activity.

European law firm Fieldfisher has announced the appointment of Robert Jappie as a partner in its Regulatory team in London, starting on Monday 17th April.

Robert specialises in emerging life sciences industries, and is recognised as a leading legal expert in progressive areas of regulation, such as medical cannabis, CBD consumer products, and food-technology. 

He began his career as a criminal defence lawyer and chose to focus on cannabis regulation five years ago.

International law firm, Addleshaw Goddard LLP has marked its first year in Ireland with the launch of its energy practice. The firm has recruited Partner Gavin Blake to head up the new practice, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience advising clients in the Irish energy sector.
