Global law firm Hogan Lovells announced that James “Jim” Davidson has joined as a capital markets partner in the firm’s preeminent and nationally recognized REIT practice, based in the Washington, D.C. and Houston offices. Davidson, who joins from Hunton Andrews Kurth, advises clients on REIT transactions, corporate governance, and securities market regulation, and represents clients in both U.S. and international capital markets matters.

Sidley is pleased to announce that Ian McGinley has joined the firm as a Securities Enforcement and Regulatory partner in the Regulatory and Enforcement practice group in New York. Mr. McGinley was most recently the Director of Enforcement for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). At Sidley, he will focus on regulatory enforcement and white-collar criminal defense, with a particular emphasis on commodities and securities laws. He will also advise clients in civil and criminal matters involving digital assets.

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced that Deeksha Rathi has joined the firm in London as a partner in the Tax Department. Rathi advises corporate clients on a range of UK and international tax matters, including the tax aspects of M&A and corporate finance transactions.
