Osborne Clarke has hired a restructuring and insolvency partner from Michelmores in London

Douglas Hawthorn has been a partner in Michelmores’ banking, restructuring & insolvency team since 2017. He was previously senior counsel at Travers Smith. He was a co-chair of Michelmores’ International Committee and remains a vice-chair of the Insolvency Section of the International Bar Association.

Nigro Jr. will rejoin the Firm from the US Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, where he served as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General (2019-2020) and as Deputy Assistant Attorney General (2017-2019). He will serve as chair of the Firm's Global Antitrust and Competition Department and will be based in Washington, DC. His first day back at the Firm is Monday, November 2, 2020.

King & Spalding announced that former U.S. Department of Justice Acting Assistant Attorney General Ethan Davis is returning to the firm as a partner in its San Francisco office. Davis, who also clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch in October Term 2017, will be a member of the firm’s Special Matters and Government Investigations team.
