Hogan Lovells has announced that high-profile lawyer Charlie Clayton-Payne has re-joined the transatlantic firm as a partner in its Corporate & Finance practice, based in its Singapore office.

He joins from Harneys in Hong Kong but was previously based in Hogan Lovells' Singapore office (until 27 February 2019) where he was central to the establishment of the banking team. During his time with Hogan Lovells, Charlie also undertook a year-long secondment at Standard Chartered Bank working with the loan structuring and syndication teams.

Ms. Goldstein has extensive government and private practice experience. She spent nearly a dozen years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY), including serving as Chief of SDNY’s prestigious Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force—the first woman to hold that position since the 1980s. Ms. Goldstein comes to Akin Gump from Milbank LLP.

Matt joins DLA Piper from King & Wood Mallesons’ (KWM) Financial Services Dispute Resolution group, where he has spent the past 13 years. During his time at KWM, Matt has built a successful financial services dispute resolution and class actions practice, advising a number of organisations in the financial services sector, including IOOF, Zurich, Westpac and ANZ.
