MoFo Represents SoftBank in WeWork Investments Totaling $6B

Morrison & Foerster LLP is representing SoftBank Group Corp. in connection with investments totaling $6 billion into WeWork Companies Inc. (recently rebranded as The We Company), a company that develops and provides shared workspaces to entrepreneurs and small and large businesses worldwide, among other product and service offerings. The investment will be made in tranches over time. MoFo previously represented SoftBank in connection with its $4.4 billion investment, including tender offer for shares, in WeWork in 2017.

Dechert advised Natixis, La Banque Postale and Banque Internationale à Luxembourg in connection with the financing of Cloche d’Or retail center by the Ceetrus group

Dechert LLP advised Natixis, La Banque Postale, as well as Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, in connection with the financing of the construction of a retail center by the Ceetrus group in Luxembourg.

This retail center of 75,000 m2 GLA is located in the emblematic "Cloche d’Or" neighborhood which brings together schools, a rescue and training center, upmarket residential housing and major offices within a 20ha landscaped green space.

Clifford Chance advises Commerzbank on the sale of VITREUM office building in Eschborn to South Korean investor

Clifford Chance has advised Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft on the sale of the office building "Vitreum" to South Korean investor Hana Financial Investment. The office building is located in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main. United Partners (Korea) and Hines acted as investment manager for the buyer in the so-called sale-and-lease-back transaction.

Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP advised aircraft lessor and financier Altavair AirFinance, a leader in commercial aviation finance, on its agreement to form a long-term partnership with leading global investment firm KKR & Co. Under the partnership, KKR has made a $1 billion capital commitment, primarily from its credit and infrastructure funds, which may be supplemented with additional commitments over time, to acquire commercial aircraft with Altavair over the next several years, and Altavair will be KKR’s partner for aircraft leasing investments going forward.

Charles Russell Speechlys was pleased to act for Grant Thornton as nominated adviser and both Hannam & Partners and Mirabaud Securities as joint brokers on the admission of Kropz plc to trading on AIM with a placing of $35 million.

Kropz plc is a South African phosphate development and mining company, with an advanced stage phosphate project in South Africa, a large-scale phosphate project in the Republic of Congo and exploration assets in Ghana.  Its market capitalisation on admission to AIM was c.£96m.

Ltd (Zijin)'s successful cross-border public offer for Canadian mining company Nevsun Resources Ltd. (Nevsun)
