Arntzen de Besche assists Techstep ASA in the acquisition of Mytos AS

Techstep ASA, a proider of hardware and mobile solutions (SaaS) to the B2B market, announced 2 Februray 2017 the acquisition of Mytos AS for the consideration of NOK 120 million.

Techstep ASA has also entered into an agreement in principle to acquire Apro Tele og Data AS. In connection with these transactions and to finance further acquisitions, the company has completed private placement of NOK 100 million.

Travers Smith advises Ascential plc on acquisition of Health Service Journal by Wilmington plc

Travers Smith LLP has advised Ascential plc on the sale of Health Service Journal (HSJ) to Wilmington plc, which was announced on 19 January and completed on 31 January 2017.

On 5 January 2017 Ascential announced that it had separated 13 heritage brands into a separate operating entity and that these brands would develop an independent business strategy while new owners were sought.  The sale of HSJ to Wilmington marks the first sale in this process.

HSJ is a leading source of information for both public and private health professionals.

Georges Racine, Partner (HFW Geneva) advised Publicis Groupe on all the corporate aspects of the deal.

MetaDesign was advised by law firm Bertsch Minder Partner in Zurich (Switzerland).

Dentons won a resounding victory in two, back-to-back, major jury trials for client Nistica, Inc. in one of the largest patent cases litigated in the U.S district courts in 2016, Finisar Corp. v. Nistica, Inc., Case No. 5:13-cv-03445. On January 20, the Honorable Beth Labson Freeman, U.S. District Court Judge in San Jose, California, upheld the jury verdicts in Nistica’s favor, denying plaintiff Finisar's motions for judgment as a matter of law and for a new trial, securing Nistica’s complete victory in this large 6-patent case.
