Slaughter and May advised Ambatana B.V. Holdings in relation to the letgo merger of U.S. operations with Wallapop S.L.

Under the terms of the agreement, Wallapop’s U.S. operations will be absorbed into letgo, creating a strong player in the U.S. mobile classifieds market. The combined entity will be majority owned and managed by letgo, and will operate under the letgo brand on the letgo platform. Existing shareholders will also be injecting USD 100 million to grow the combined business.

Safeguarding DJI-Innovations’ crucial domain assets, KWM defended DJI-Innovations’ intellectual property (IP) rights through that case.

KWM advises Global Traffic Network on proposed ASX listing

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised Global Traffic Network (GTN) on its proposed initial public offering, which priced at $1.90 or a price-to-earnings multiple of fifteen times. The company is expected to list with a market capitalisation of $383 million.

GTN is a broadcast media advertising platform operating in Australia, Canada, Britain and Brazil. It provides traffic news to radio and television stations in exchange for embedded advertising spots, which it sells to advertisers.

Fieldfisher has advised Swiss Sonova Holding AG on its acquisition of AudioNova International B.V. (AudioNova). Sonova has acquired the company from HAL Investments B.V. (HAL). The value of AudioNova is EUR 830 million.

The closing of the transaction is still subject to approval by the regulatory authorities and is expected in the second half of 2016.  Sonova, headquartered in Switzerland, is one of the world’s leading providers of innovative hearing solutions.
