Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Future plc (Future) on the sale of its Sport and Craft titles, refinancing and transfer of its listing category.

Future specialises in the publication of special interest magazine titles and websites. Future has sold its Sport and Craft titles to Immediate Media Company Bristol Limited for up to £24 million. The magazine titles and websites sold include the market leading ‘Mountain Biking UK’, ‘Cyclingnews.com’, ‘Mollie Makes’ and ‘Simply Knitting’.

Taylor Wessing has advised the shareholders of Markco Media Limited on the sale of the business to Monitise plc.

Global mobile banking, payments and commerce technology business Monitise, has announced its acquisition of Markco Media Limited – which includes the businesses of voucher and coupon site MyVoucherCodes.co.uk and Last Second Tickets – in a deal worth up to £55m.

O2 acquires E-Plus - Telefónica/O2: Successful outcome with CMS Hasche Sigle before EU Commission

The EU Commission has approved the merger of Telefónica Deutschland (O2) and E-Plus subject to certain conditions. This is by far the largest merger control case in the German market in recent years. It also represents one of the biggest-ever merger control cases in the European mobile telecommunications market, with the proceedings lasting almost a year. The merger is therefore widely seen as a benchmark with regard to a number of other mobile telecommunications markets in Europe where market consolidation is likewise to be expected.

Hogan Lovells Advises Vodafone on First Public Tender Offer in Italy

Hogan Lovells has advised Vodafone Global Enterprise Limited on its Euro 145 million (£115 million) voluntary tender offer for the entire ordinary issued share capital of Cobra Automotive Technologies S.p.A. (Cobra), listed on Italy's Telematic Share Market managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. The offer was announced on 16 June 2014 and marks Vodafone's first public tender offer in Italy.

Ashurst has advised Cegedim in connection with the binding offer made by IMS Health Inc. for the acquisition of the majority of its CRM and strategic data division business for an amount of €385 million. This includes the transfer of all of the CRM division and strategic data activity, with the exception of the departments providing sales data in the EU such as GERS France and Pharmastock.

Homestay Solutions GmbH is an internet start-up which over the last years achieved considerable growth with its internet platform, homestaybooking.com. Since 2008 homestaybooking.com has provided online booking for accommodation with host families worldwide. Host families are mainly booked for young people living abroad for language classes, internships or other education purposes.
