White & Case Advises Italiaonline on Sale of 12.54 to Contacta

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Italiaonline S.p.A. on the sale of its 12.54 business unit, which is active in the directory assistance sector, to Contacta S.p.A.

The sale was carried out to comply with the approval by the Italian Antitrust Authority for the reverse merger between Italiaonline and SEAT Pagine Gialle S.p.A., which became effective on June 20, 2016.

Dentons advises NBGI on the sale of a logistics portfolio in Poland

Dentons advised NBGI Private Equity, a leading European private equity and venture capital investment firm, on the sale of a logistics portfolio in Poland to Hines Poland Sustainable Income Fund (HPSIF).

The portfolio includes logistics parks in Torun, Myslowice, Legnica, Garwolin and Grodzisk Mazowiecki. It encompasses five warehouse facilities totaling to 126,289 sq.m. All properties are located near key transport hubs, allowing for convenient domestic and international transportation.

Carlsberg Sells Holsten Brewery Site in Hamburg

Frankfurt - Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that it has advised the Carlsberg Group, one of the world's largest brewing conglomerates, on the sale of the Holsten Brewery site in Altona, Hamburg, the most sought-after industrial site in the city.

The approximately 86,500 square meter estate in the west of Hamburg is one of the largest and most important urban projects in Germany. The new concept for the site will comprise housing, offices and commercial space for more than 7,500 people and is intended to enrich the area.

On 23 June 2016, Metsähallitus and a JV owned by Taaleri Plc’s private equity fund, Taaleri Tuulitehdas II and Loiste Energia Oy completed the second phase of a transaction that had begun in 2014. At the time of the acquisition, Taaleri Plc’s private equity fund Taaleri Tuulitehdas II and Loiste Energia Oy had just enlarged their Kivivaara-Peuravaara wind farm project by six wind turbine generators, bringing the total number of wind turbine generators to 19, with a total investment value of EUR 110 million.

DWF advises Champion Accountants on MBO

Leading legal business DWF has advised Champion Accountants on the disposal of its Southport office via a management buyout.

The Hoghton Street practice has now become Advance Accountancy and will continue to be led by directors Bob Thompson and Janice Hurst. The deal means that Champion now has 110 staff across its offices in Manchester, Chester, Preston and Blackpool.

Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Origin Energy Limited (Origin) on its agreement to sell the 30MW Cullerin Range Wind Farm to EDL Holdings (Australia) Pty Limited (EDL).

Cullerin Range Wind Farm, located 35km west of Goulburn in New South Wales, commenced operations in July 2009 and comprises 15x2MW turbines. The sale of Cullerin Range Wind Farm follows a competitive sale process and is one of a series asset sales announced by Origin.

King & Wood Mallesons advises INTERNOS on the sale of MARITIM Hotel Dresden

INTERNOS Global Investors (INTERNOS), the pan European owner-managed real estate fund manager has sold the Maritim Hotel Dresden on behalf of the INTERNOS Hotel Real Estate Fund. The hotel team led by Lars Reubekeul and Dr Florian Biesalski of King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) provided legal advice to the INTERNOS Hotel Real Estate Fund on this transaction.

The purchaser, listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, is Frasers Hospitality Trust. The purchase price for the 4-star hotel with 328 rooms amounts to EUR 58.4 million.
