DWF advises aerospace products supplier on £30million AIM flotation

DWF has advised Velocity Composites, the leading supplier of advance composite material kits to the aerospace industry, on a £30.5million AIM flotation. 

The placing will give the 97-strong company, which is based in Burnley and Fareham, an enhanced public profile and the platform to expand into new territories and invest in new product development.

Clifford Chance advised the underwriters, IDFC Bank, Credit Suisse India, ICICI Securities, and IndiaInfoline (IIFL), on the international law aspects of IRB InvIT Fund's US$785 million IPO on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). This is India's first ever infrastructure investment trust. The transaction established a new form of funding for infrastructure developers in India.

Osborne Clarke has advised StarLeaf Limited on their $40m Series B fundraising from Grafton Capital and Highland Capital Partners Europe.

Founded in 2008, StarLeaf is a global video conferencing provider and manufacturer with a comprehensive range of tools that provide video for meeting rooms, desktops and mobile use. The new funding will support growth in primary markets of Europe and North America, and accelerate expansion into Asia Pacific.

On 12 May 2017, Lonza Group completed a capital increase by way of a rights offering raising gross proceeds of approximately CHF 2.25 billion. The proceeds will be used to partially finance the acquisition of Capsugel. The rights offering has been fully underwritten by a banking syndicate led by UBS AG and BofA Merrill Lynch acting as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners. Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs International and J.P. Morgan acted as Joint Bookrunners.
