Freshfields has advised a consortium of four bookrunners on the US$114m global offering of Guangdong Kanghua Healthcare

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has advised a consortium of four bookrunners on the US$114m global offering of Guangdong Kanghua Healthcare Co., Ltd. (‘Guangdong Kanghua Healthcare’). Freshfields acted as Hong Kong and US legal counsel to the underwriters of the deal. Trading of shares commenced on 8 November 2016 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Linklaters advises as the Bank of Cyprus announces plans for London stock market listing

Linklaters is advising as the Bank of Cyprus has today announced plans to apply for a standard listing on the London Stock Exchange, The Group intends to maintain a listing on the Cyprus Stock Exchange and will no longer be listed on the Athens Exchange.

The banks wants to use the float to increase its exposure to international investors and to raise its market capitalisation to its book value of £2.5bn.

Linklaters is advising HSBC on the deal with a team led by Capital Markets partner Jason Manketo and Corporate partner John Lane.

Sidley Advises Bank of Cyprus on Its Application for London Stock Exchange Listing

King & Wood Mallesons Advised GDS on Its Listing on NASDAQ

On 2 November 2016, advised by King & Wood Mallesons (“KWM”), GDS Holdings Limited (“GDS”, stock code: GDS) was successfully listed on Nasdaq. GDS’ initial public offering of 19.25 million American depositary shares (“ADS”) at US$10.00 per share raised US$192.5 million. Following 21Vianet Group and ChinaCache, this IPO marks another large-sized Chinese independent third-party operator of data centers listed in the US.

Baker & McKenzie acts on IPO of Elanor Retail Property Fund

Baker & McKenzie has advised Elanor Investors Group on the establishment, initial public offering and ASX listing of the Elanor Retail Property Fund (ASX:ERF). The Elanor Retail Property Fund has been created through the stapling of two existing wholesale property funds that were managed by Elanor Investors Group, and the acquisition of two new properties.  The Fund raised approx. $110 million under the IPO and will have a market capitalisation on listing of approx. $174 million. The Fund will invest predominantly in retail shopping centre assets.

Zhou Hei Ya International Holdings Completes HK$2,495.9 Million (US$321.8 Million) Hong Kong IPO and Rule 144A/Regulation S Offering

The Hong Kong office of the Firm represented Zhou Hei Ya International Holdings Company Limited (“Zhou Hei Ya”) in connection with its initial public offering in Hong Kong and Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of an aggregate of 424,470,000 shares (prior to any exercise of the overallotment option), which raised approximately HK$2,495.9 million (US$321.8 million) in gross proceeds. The ordinary shares of Zhou Hei Ya are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Morgan Stanley Asia Limited and Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Limited acted as joint global coordinators and joint sponsors.
