Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in Dual-Listed Initial Public Offering of LINE Corporation

The Firm represented the underwriters, led by joint global coordinators Morgan Stanley, Nomura Securities, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, in the initial public offering of LINE Corporation. A total of 35,000,000 shares of common stock were sold in the global offering, including 22,000,000 shares (deliverable in the form of shares or American Depositary Shares (ADSs)) in an international offering, including the United States, and 13,000,000 shares sold as part of a domestic Japanese offering.

Hill Dickinson advises on £5 million investment for Rockar

International law firm Hill Dickinson has advised innovative motor retailer Rockar on an investment from private equity houses Maven Capital Partners and NVM Private Equity LLP.

Rockar was established in 2012 by Simon Dixon with the aim of revolutionising the car buying experience. The result is a new retail proposition where customers have access to all the services of a traditional dealership online, or at one of Rockar’s digital stores.

China Logistics Properties Holdings Co., Ltd Completes HK$3,366 Million (US$434.3 Million) Hong Kong IPO and Rule 144A/Regulation S Offering

The Firm represented China Logistics Properties Holdings Co., Ltd (“CNLP”) in connection with its initial public offering in Hong Kong and Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of an aggregate of 1,035,707,000 ordinary shares, which raised approximately HK$3,366 million (approximately US$434.3 million) in gross proceeds. The ordinary shares of CNLP are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank acted as joint sponsors, joint global coordinators, joint bookrunners and joint lead managers.
