Squire Patton Boggs Advises City of London Group plc on Transfer to AIM

Squire Patton Boggs has been advising City of London Group plc with respect to its £5 million equity fundraising, the transfer of trading of the company's shares from the main market of the London Stock Exchange plc to AIM and amendments to its investing policy. Admission to AIM occurred earlier today.

City of London Group plc is an investment company focused on providing finance to the SME sector, including professional services firms. It does this through investments in companies providing trade finance, lease finance and loan finance.

Ashurst advises on 8IP Emerging Companies Limited IPO

Ashurst has acted as the Australian legal adviser to 8IP Emerging Companies Limited (8EC), which is seeking to raise up to A$58 million (including oversubscriptions) in a proposed initial public offering and ASX listing.

8EC has proposed an IPO and listing on ASX as a listed investment company, whose investments will be managed by Eight Investment Partners Pty Ltd, including in relation to the preparation of a prospectus lodged with ASIC.

The prospectus was lodged with ASIC on 2 October 2015.

CMS advises on the IPO of InPost S.A.

CMS has provided legal advice in the course of Inpost SA’s IPO to managers: IPOPEMA Securities S.A., Wood & Company Financial Services and Alior Bank S.A. Brokerage House. The IPO of the largest independent postal operator in Poland saw the offer of existing shares worth over PLN 121 million. Integer.pl SA Group will use proceeds from the sale of the shares to further develop its network of parcel machines (paczkomaty).

Shearman & Sterling Advises on IMAX China’s Hong Kong IPO

Shearman & Sterling advised Morgan Stanley Asia Limited as the sole sponsor and one of the joint bookrunners, along with Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C. and China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited, on the primary listing on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited of IMAX China holding, Inc. (“IMAX China”), a subsidiary of IMAX Corporation (“IMAX”). The size of the global offering is approximately HK$1.92 billion (US$248 million) (or HK$2.21 billion if the over-allotment option is fully exercised).

Regina Miracle International Limited Completes HK$1,652 Million (US$213.2 Million) Hong Kong Initial Public Offering and Rule 144A/Regulation S Offering

Simpson Thacher represented Regina Miracle International (Holdings) Limited in connection with its initial public offering in Hong Kong and Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of an aggregate of 295 million ordinary shares, which raised approximately HK$1,652 million (approximately US$213.2 million) in gross proceeds. The ordinary shares of Regina Miracle International (Holdings) Limited are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Morgan Stanley acted as the sole sponsor and sole global coordinator.

White & Case Advises Eren Renewable Energy on €200 Million Fundraising

White & Case LLP has advised Eren Renewable Energy on its fundraising of approximatively €200 million.

The transaction will enable the group to finance its development projects in a sustainable manner, in particular by accelerating the expansion of its international assets portfolio. A capital increase of €100 million, the first part of this fundraising, has been subscribed by BPI France, Next World, Salvepar (Tikehau Group) and FFP.
