Hogan Lovells advises Rosewood Hotels & Resorts on the opening of their first hotel in Germany

Led by their Frankfurt Partner Marc Werner Hogan Lovells has advised Rosewood Hotels & Resorts on the conclusion of the contracts for the international luxury hotel brand's first hotel in Germany.

The new Rosewood Munich will open in early 2023 in two landmark buildings in the heart of the historic city center and will be their fourth property in Europe. Rosewood manages 21 one-of-a-kind luxury properties worldwide and will expand in Europe over the next years.

Hogan Lovells has advised Rosewood on the management agreement and on all contractual matters.

G+T advises ASX on ground-breaking platform upgrade that uses distributed ledger technology

Gilbert + Tobin are thrilled to be advising ASX on the implementation of a new platform to replace the CHESS clearing and settlement system using distributed ledger technology (DLT).

Clifford Chance advised leading global airport operator VINCI Airports S.A.S. on the project agreement with Kobe City for the 42-year concession of Kobe Airport. VINCI teamed up with ORIX Corporation and Kansai Airports to participate in the bid.

The team advised VINCI Airports on all aspects of the transaction, including the bidding process and the arrangements between VINCI and the other members of the consortium.

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised MSC Cruises (”MSC”) on the delivery of the first of its two next-generation Seaside class vessels, named the “MSC SEASIDE”.

The “MSC SEASIDE” is due to enter service in December 2017, and will operate year-round to the Caribbean, from a renovated and expanded dedicated berth and terminal at the Port of Miami, Florida, USA. The second vessel will be delivered in May 2018.

Clyde & Co advises Chubb on strategic co-operation agreement with China’s PICC

Global law firm Clyde & Co has advised long-standing client Chubb on its strategic cooperation agreement with PICC Property & Casualty Company of China.

Clyde & Co was Lead Counsel to Chubb, drafting and negotiating the agreements between it and PICC, which involved creating an arrangement covering over 200 countries.

The agreement allows Chubb to support PICC's customers and other Chinese-affiliated companies around the world in line with the Chinese government's drive to promote the country's "Going Out" and "One Belt One Road" initiatives.
