Schweizerische Mobiliar to acquire KKR's stake in Scout24 Schweiz and to become new shareholder alongside Ringier

Ringier and Mobiliar have agreed a strategic partnership whereby Mobiliar will become the new joint shareholder in Scout24 Schweiz, the leading network of online marketplaces for motor vehicles, real estate and general classifieds. Mobiliar agreed to acquire a fifty per cent stake in Scout24 Schweiz, previously held by KKR and other shareholders. Ringier will continue to consolidate Scout24 Schweiz and therefore will retain governance rights.

Ashurst advises Westfield on £600m extension of Westfield London

Ashurst advised Westfield on its £600 million retail extension to Westfield London. The phase 2 joint venture with Commerz Real Investmentgesellschaft will extend the market leading retail scheme by over 500,000 square feet. Ashurst also advised on the negotiation of the lease for the new 230,000 sq ft, four level John Lewis Anchor store.

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Akwa Group, a leading Moroccan energy, infrastructure and development business, on its negotiations of its shareholders’ agreement with APM Terminals (APMT), a Dutch port company and subsidiary of Danish company Maersk, in relation to Container Terminal 4 (TC4) at Tanger Med 2 port complex in Morocco.

Allen & Overy has acted for the Advisory Services unit of the International Finance Corporation (IFC Advisory), in conjunction with the Ministry of Electric Power (MOEP) and the state-owned Myanmar Electric Power Enterprise (MEPE), on the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Sembcorp Myingyan Power Company Limited (a subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries) in relation to the Myingyan IPP.

Luther advises real estate developer VGP in 500 million joint venture with Allianz Real Estate

Dusseldorf –At the beginning of March, the real estate group VGP, which develops projects all over Europe, entered into a 50-50 joint venture with Allianz Real Estate. It chose Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH as its adviser for the transaction, which has a value of over EUR 500 million. The joint venture will bundle the assets of projects developed by VGP in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The plan is to continue to develop the logistics and industrial real estate portfolio and to specifically acquire the projects developed by VGP.

ABBA Therapeutics enters into OmniAB® Platform License Agreement

ABBA Therapeutics AG, a Swiss biotechnology company developing innovative immuno-oncology therapies, and Ligand Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (NASDAQ: LGND) have entered into a worldwide license agreement. Under the license, ABBA Therapeutics AG will be able to use the OmniRat, OmniMouse and OmniFlic platforms to generate fully human mono- and bispecific antibodies.

VISCHER advised ABBA Therapeutics AG in the negotiations. The VISCHER team includes partner Christian Wyss and Luzius Zumstein.

Advised Stichting Pensioenfonds Campina, a Dutch pension fund with assets under management of approximately € 1.4 billion, on the renewal of its contractual relationship with Goldman Sachs Asset Management International. The work included the preparation of, and negotiations about, a complex Dutch law fiduciary management agreement based on the pension fund's own ‘template’.
