RPC steps in for Park Place Technologies on acquisition of Prestige

Deal is the second RPC has advised Park Place Technologies on in last 12 months

City law firm RPC has advised multinational Park Place Technologies on the acquisition of West Midlands-based Prestige Systems.

The deal gives Park Place Technologies access to Prestige's IT infrastructure, including Virtualisation, Storage, Break-Fix, Managed Support, and a range of ‘Cloud-based’ solutions.

WFW advises Euronext on acquisition of 90% interest in FastMatch

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is advising Euronext in connection with the acquisition of a 90% interest in FastMatch, Inc. (“FastMatch”), a high-growth disruptive Electronic Communication Network company in the spot FX market, for an initial cash consideration of US$153m. The transaction, which is expected to close in Q3 2017, is subject to regulatory and competition approval.

Dentons successfully advises Dutch Beeztees Group on the acquisition of Karlie Flamingo GmbH

Dentons has advised Dutch pet care group Beeztees on the acquisition of Karlie Flamingo GmbH as well as the trademarks of "Karlie Flamingo" and "Karlie". The seller, Karlie Group GmbH, initiated the sale of its German core business as part of its insolvency proceedings under self-administration, with the approval of the custodian Dr. Plathner and the board of creditors. All shares in Karlie Flamingo GmbH shares have been transferred to Beeztees GmbH. Karlie will continue to operate as an independent company after the takeover, and Beeztees will support Karlie in product development.

Beans' acquisition of inCup

Setterwalls has advised Beans Holding in its acquisition of the companies being part of the inCup-chain of companies. Through the acquisition, the Pamica-controlled Beans Holding creates a new national competitor in the field of coffe distribution.

Eversheds advises the SAUR group on the acquisition of COVED by the PAPREC GROUP

Eversheds Paris LLP advises the SAUR group on the acquisition of one of its subsidiaries, COVED, specializing in the collection and recovery of waste and the cleaning of public spaces, by PAPREC group.

The acquisition is expected to happen in the spring of 2017 after obtaining authorizations from the Competition Authorities. It will allow the creation of a national leader of the collection, recycling and recycling of waste. The group will have a turnover of more than 1.3 billion euros and 8,000 employees.

BLP advises Streamwire on its acquisition of EACS

Berwin Leighton Paisner (“BLP”) has advised award-winning managed services provider Streamwire (“Streamwire”) on its purchase of market rival EACS, and subsequent formation of a larger company, trading as EACS. The combined company will have revenues of just under £20m, and is the second large acquisition in the last five years by Streamwire, following the 2015 acquisition of specialist technology business, EvEnt Computer Services.
