Travers Smith private equity partners Paul Dolman and Ian Shawyer are advising Hellman & Friedman owned Web Reservations International, owners of the HostelWorld.com and Hostels.com brands, on the acquisition of HostelBookers.com.

The all paper deal will require regulatory clearance before it can complete.

Norton Rose in Australia is advising Hong Kong Stock Exchange listed Dingyi Group Investment Limited (Dingyi) on its potential A$200m takeover of Elemental Minerals.

Elemental Minerals is a mineral exploration and development company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange. The company has a 93% stake in the Sintoukola Potash Project, situated on the coast of the Republic of Congo.

Our Paris office advised Sopra Group (NYSE Euronext: SOP) on the acquisition of HR Access, in close cooperation with the Amsterdam office. HR Access has been advised by McDermott Will & Emery (Paris and New York) and Loyens & Loeff (Amsterdam).

Sopra Group is involved in creating and advising Human Resources Management-solutions. This acquisition is in line with Sopra's 2015 strategy, which aims to solidify its position in the human resources management segment.

Charles Russell acted for Conster Capital Ventures Ltd. in the acquisition of Maskells Estate Agents, a top end London estate agency specialising in high value properties in Kensington & Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia.

Global law firm Eversheds has advised ECI Partners LLP on the secondary management buy out of premium rail travel company Amber Travel from Primary Capital, valuing the business at over £50m.

Amber Travel is a leading player in the specialist rail tour industry, offering escorted group holidays to destinations around the world. Operating three brands and with a combined turnover of £67m, the company is expected to continue to grow strongly under ECI ownership.
