Clifford Chance advises Butler Capital Partners on the potential sale of the Anovo Group to Ingram Micro

Clifford Chance is advising the Butler Capital Partners investment fund on the potential sale of the Anovo Group, an electronic equipment repair and reconditioning company, to the American distributor Ingram Micro.

Butler Capital Partners and Ingram Micro have been engaged in exclusive discussions since June 2014 with a view to selling the Anovo Group, whose head office is located in Suresnes.

Clifford Chance advises ADB on sale of stake in Bank of Hangzhou

Clifford Chance has Asian Development Bank (ADB) on the sale of its entire 3.95% stake in Bank of Hangzhou to China Life Insurance Company Limited, the largest commercial insurance group in China with assets exceeding 1 trillion RMB.

Bank of Hangzhou is the third largest non-listed city commercial bank in China. The sale was conducted through a competitive auction process and completed at the end of October 2014.

Sale of Majority Stake in Paytrail Plc to Nets

Castren & Snellman acted as the legal advisor to the shareholders of Paytrail Oyj in the sale of the majority of the shares in the company to Nets.

Paytrail is a Finnish based e-commerce payment service provider with about 4,500 merchants and more than 10,000 online stores and services in its network. Nets is the leading Nordic provider of payments, card and information services.

Olswang advises leading telecoms group Belgacom on sale of subsidiary Telindus UK to technology specialist Telent

Olswang has advised telecoms giant Belgacom on the sale of the business and assets of its subsidiary Telindus UK to technology services company Telent. The newly acquired business will be re-named Telent with immediate effect and contribute an annual turnover of over £45 million. The sale follows on from the disposal of Telindus France earlier this year.

Pinsent Masons advises on the sale of Sterling Insurance Group to Covéa

Pinsent Masons has advised Sterling Insurance Group's shareholder, Nicholas Cooper on the sale of the Sterling business to Covéa, the French mutual insurance group. The sale is subject to regulatory approval. Working alongside, DMH Stallard, the corporate lead law firm for the vendor, Pinsent Masons provided the insurance regulatory, pensions and tax advice.

Hengeler Mueller advises Supervisory Board of HAWESKO on tender offer

TOCOS Beteiligung GmbH submitted a voluntary tender offer to the shareholders of HAWESKO Holding AG for the entire share capital of HAWESKO not already held by the Bidder at a price of €40 per share. The bid price values the share capital of HAWESKO at €359m. On 4 December 2014, the Management and Supervisory Board both issued an according statement in accordance to § 27 WpÜG (GermanTakeover Act).
