Dentons advises Huntingdonshire District Council on planning for 2,800 new homes

London—Dentons has advised Huntingdonshire District Council on the planning agreement and planning conditions for a sustainable urban extension at St Neots, a town situated 15 miles west of Cambridge.

The proposals, which received planning permission on 5 November 2018, comprise residential development of up to 2,800 homes; up to 63,500 square metres of employment development; a district centre including shops, community and health services; two primary schools; open space play areas and other recreational facilities; and landscaping and various infrastructure works.

DLA Piper advises KGAL Group on its acquisition of „Berliner Freiheit“ in Bremen

DLA Piper has advised the KGAL Investment Management GmbH & Co. KG on its acquisition of shopping center and neighbourhood hub "Berliner Freiheit" in Bremen, for an undisclosed price. The "Berliner Freiheit" was sold by the Hamburg-based family-run firm which originally built the property. The property will be added to a special Europe-wide real estate AIF.

The "Berliner Freiheit" shopping center is located in the eastern district of Bremen-Vahr. The property, which was built between 2002 and 2003, comprises a total rental area of around 21,000 meters squared.

Slaughter and May advised Aviva plc on its issue of €750 million 1.875 per cent Fixed Rate Dated Senior Notes due 13 November 2027 under its £7 billion Euro Note Programme.

The Notes have been admitted to listing on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the regulated market of the London Stock Exchange.

The Notes have been assigned a rating of A2 by Moody’s and A by Fitch.

Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets plc, Barclays Bank PLC and HSBC Bank plc acted as managers in respect of the offering.

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Amigo Holdings PLC (Amigo), the leading company in the UK guarantor loan space, on the completion of its inaugural £150 million securitisation facility.

The facility will be used to fund new customer originations and repay drawings under the company's existing revolving credit facility, as Amigo continues to expand in the UK's non-standard finance market.

Dentons' Banking and Finance team in Warsaw has advised BGZ BNP Paribas on a EU4 million financing granted to ECI Group company (Europejskie Centrum Inwestycyjne ECI S.A.) for, among others, the repayment of intra-group debt incurred for construction of the Nordkapp office building in Warsaw, with a total lease area of approximately 4,000 s.qm.

The scope of Dentons' legal advice included the examination and preparation of a due diligence report on the key property documents, the borrower's company and the project, as well as preparation of the credit documents package.
