New site for Münster Correctional Facility - Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek supports Building and Property Management Department BLB

BLB, the North-Rhine Westphalia Building and Property Management Department, will build a modern correctional facility in Münster-Wolbeck. The new correctional facility that will be able to house 640 prisoners will replace Germany's oldest correctional facility in Münster's city center and is expected to be completed by 2024.
 

G+T advises LifeHealthcare on $211 million scheme of arrangement with Pacific Equity Partners

Gilbert + Tobin is pleased to announce that it is advising LifeHealthcare Group Limited (LifeHealthcare) on its scheme of arrangement with Pacific Equity Partners (PEP).

LifeHealthcare and Pacific Health Supplies BidCo Pty Limited, an entity wholly-owned by funds advised by PEP, today announced that they have entered into a binding scheme implementation deed. If implemented, the transaction will result in PEP acquiring all of the shares in LifeHealthcare for $3.75 per share, a 46 % premium to the last closing price of LifeHealthcare shares on 2 February 2018.

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Nasdaq Copenhagen and Nasdaq New York listed TORM Plc (“TORM”) on its successful private placement of US$100m Class A common shares through an accelerated book-building process.

TORM is a product tanker company and one of the world’s leading carriers of refined oil products such as gasoline, jet fuel, naphtha and diesel oil. It operates a fleet of approximately 80 modern vessels.

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Cartus Corporation (“Cartus”) on the disposal of its stake in Learnship Networks GmbH (“Learnship”) to THI Investments GmbH (“THI”).

An industry leader in the field of corporate relocation programmes and services for more than 60 years, Cartus has previously helped fund Learnship’s expansion by providing equity and convertible loan financing across several venture capital financing rounds. Alex Fraser offers a network of facilities across Melbourne and Brisbane, and was listed for sale in 2017 by UK-based Swire Group.

Ashurst has advised CHA Healthcare Singapore Pte Ltd (CHA Healthcare) and Singapore Medical Group Limited (SMG) (together, the Consortium) on their acquisition of approximately 65% of City Fertility Clinics, which are operated by CFC Global Pty Ltd (CFC Global), the fourth largest fertility services provider in Australia.

CFC Global operates seven clinics to provide laboratory, nursing and IVF services. The business also includes genetic testing support, and sperm and egg donor services.

Dentons advises on planning permission for world's tallest modular scheme

Dentons has advised Tide Construction in securing planning permission for its 550-apartment private rented sector (PRS) development at 101 George Street, Croydon in south London.

The £150 million scheme will include two of the world's tallest towers built using modular construction methods over 44 and 38 storeys. It is one of the first major PRS schemes to receive permission following the adoption of the Mayor of London's supplementary planning guidance on viability last summer.
