PARTNER MOVES - King & Spalding welcomes E-Discovery partner Chris Costello to product liability and mass torts practice group in Los Angeles

King & Spalding announced that e-discovery lawyer Chris Costello has joined the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts practice group as a partner in its Los Angeles office.

Costello advises clients on e-discovery and information governance matters, including litigation readiness, document retention and information management, cross-border discovery issues, privacy and legal holds. He also has experience handling all aspects of complex litigation for a wide variety of disputes from inception through trial and resolution.

PARTNER MOVES - Former HHS-OIG attorney Laura Morgan rejoins Dorsey as a healthcare partner in Minneapolis

Laura Morgan has rejoined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a Partner in the Healthcare Transactions and Regulations practice group in Minneapolis, the international law firm announced. Prior to rejoining Dorsey, Laura was a Senior Counsel in the Industry Guidance Branch of the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS-OIG). Laura was previously with Dorsey from 2016–2022.

James joins from Bird & Bird where he spent five years as a Partner and Head of Real Estate Finance (REF). Prior to this, he spent 14 years as a Partner at Addleshaw Goddard.

Phill joins from Linklaters. He advises underwriters and issuers on a broad range of international capital markets transactions across India, Asia-Pacific and Australasia, including convertible/exchangeable bonds, medium-term note programs, covered bonds, green and ESG bonds, Islamic finance, regulatory capital, perpetual securities, straight debt issues, and liability management transactions.

Kathryn joins Dentons from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where she specialised in leading large and complex private equity real estate deals. She has experience leading both private M&A and joint venture transactions across the UK and Europe, and has worked with some of the world's largest and most recognisable private equity firms.
