We are delighted to announce we have acquired a nine-strong team from Plexus Law as we continue to expand our UK liability practice.

Partner Mark Dyson heads up the experienced team which includes legal directors Ashley Mahon and Nicola McDougall, and associates Alexander Colombo, Priya Fatania and Matthew Stanley.

Most of the team will be based in London, along with two litigation assistants and a legal secretary, while Nicola joins our recently opened office in Newcastle and Matthew will work out of Leeds.

Global law firm Clyde & Co has announced the hire of Dutsadee Dutsadeepanich as Partner in Bangkok. This expansion follows the opening of the firm’s Bangkok office earlier this year and the hires of Partner Ian Johnston and Legal Director Sorawat Wongkaweepairot. It underlines the firm’s focus on Thailand and across the fast-growing ASEAN region and adds to its strong offering of over 350 legal professionals in the APAC region.

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright announced that it has appointed Paul Devlin, a senior litigation partner with decades of US law experience, as a partner in Perth. The firm has also promoted to the partnership Daniel Allman, a dispute resolution lawyer based in Sydney with a focus on cross-border disputes and international arbitration.

Freshfields announced that Tim Clark has joined the firm’s global transactions group in New York to lead our global funds practice, one of the key pillars of our private capital business that serves our financial sponsor clients across the full spectrum of their legal needs in the US and globally. Tim joins recent lateral private capital partner hires in our leveraged finance, capital solutions and bank regulatory businesses.

A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has appointed Lorena Dunne as a partner in its Asset Management & Investment Funds practice.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP expands its growing global Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Practice with the addition of Thomas D. Pease as a shareholder in New York. Pease, who has a focus on Patent Litigation, joins from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, where he was a leader in the IP Practice.

Arnold & Porter announced that Judge Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr., who recently stepped down from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, will join the firm as a partner in September. He will be a member of Arnold & Porter’s Appellate & Supreme Court, Complex Litigation, and White-Collar practices, and will be resident in Newark and New York.

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP announced that Josh Cohen and Abraham Tabaie – two prominent California litigators – have joined the firm’s San Francisco office as partners. Mr. Cohen, an accomplished white collar trial lawyer with over 20 years of experience in criminal defense and government investigations, joins the firm’s White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group, while Mr. Tabaie, a broad-gauged commercial litigator, joins the Commercial Litigation Group.
