Arnold & Porter announced that Judge Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr., who recently stepped down from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, will join the firm as a partner in September. He will be a member of Arnold & Porter’s Appellate & Supreme Court, Complex Litigation, and White-Collar practices, and will be resident in Newark and New York.

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP announced that Josh Cohen and Abraham Tabaie – two prominent California litigators – have joined the firm’s San Francisco office as partners. Mr. Cohen, an accomplished white collar trial lawyer with over 20 years of experience in criminal defense and government investigations, joins the firm’s White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group, while Mr. Tabaie, a broad-gauged commercial litigator, joins the Commercial Litigation Group.

Kennedys has announced that insurance coverage litigator Michael Melendez has joined its San Francisco office as a partner. In addition, Teri Mae Rutledge has joined the office as special counsel.

As an insurance coverage attorney, Mike focuses his practice on all types of complex insurance coverage, including construction defect, advertising injury, personal injury, professional liability, and general liability. He advises insurers on claims handling and coverage issues, defends bad faith suits, and litigates declaratory relief and contribution actions.

Christoph Seidler will join Osborne Clarke from KLIEMT.Arbeitsrecht, one of Germany's largest boutique law firms specializing in employment law, on 1 August 2023. As a partner, he will strengthen the employment law team of the international commercial law firm in Hamburg.

International law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP (BCLP) announced that Farron Curry has joined as a partner in its newly launched Seattle office. Farron joins three months after BCLP officially opened the Seattle office – the firm’s first in the Pacific Northwest.
