McGuireWoods is building on its powerful energy enforcement capabilities with the arrival of partner Jeremy Medovoy, the former Deputy Director of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Office of Enforcement and the agency’s top-ranking enforcement lawyer. He is the 10th partner to join McGuireWoods’ D.C. office since July 2024.

Medovoy advises clients on matters before FERC, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), drawing on insights he gained during his 16-year career at FERC.
