Hogan Lovells is further strengthening its Construction & Engineering practice with the arrival of Emerson Holmes as a partner in its Global International Arbitration practice. He joins the firm from King & Spalding where he was Deputy Head of Construction.  Emerson will be resident in Hogan Lovells’ London office.

Macfarlanes is pleased to announce that Faye Jarvis joins the firm as a partner in the firm’s pensions team on 21 November. Faye joins from Hogan Lovells where she has spent the past 15 years.

Faye has extensive experience advising employers and trustees on complex funding arrangements, liability management exercises, scheme mergers and demergers, endgame strategies and the pensions aspects of corporate transactions. She has also worked with insurers on the development of their pension products, and investment managers on the development of their services to pension trustees.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has hired a group of 19 Intellectual Property (IP) & Technology Practice attorneys and patent agents, more than half of whom will be in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, which first opened less than three years ago. The 31-person team, which includes specialist engineers and business staff, joined from FisherBroyles LLP.
