King & Spalding announced that leading global investigations and technology lawyer Nema Milaninia has joined the firm as a partner in its Special Matters and Government Investigations practice group. Milaninia is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

King & Spalding announced that former U.S. Department of Commerce official Ryan Majerus has joined the firm as a partner on the International Trade team in its Government Matters and Regulation practice group. Majerus is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Majerus most recently served as the acting Assistant Secretary for Enforcement and Compliance at the U.S. Department of Commerce. In this role, he oversaw administrative litigation and enforcement policies of the U.S. antidumping and countervailing duty laws, among other areas.

King & Spalding announced that Lauren Roth, former U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Associate Commissioner for Policy, has joined the firm as a partner on the FDA and Life Sciences team in its Government Matters and Regulation practice group.
