A group of Litigation practitioners joined global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s growing Denver office. Stacy A. Carpenter and Michael P. Dulin join as shareholders; Gina L. Tincher joins as of counsel; and Nicholas Banelli joins as associate. The four attorneys were previously at law firm Polsinelli.

PARTNER MOVES - Fried Frank to expand tax department in London

Fried Frank announced that Oliver Currall will join the firm as a partner in the Tax Department in London. He will join from Sidley, where he led the firm’s UK Tax practice and co-headed the Tax group in Europe.

Currall advises on UK and international tax structuring, with a particular focus on cross-border private equity and M&A transactions, and the structuring and operation of global investment funds. He provides tax advice to major private equity sponsors on their deals and to asset managers on the operation of UK management company and asset holding structures.

PARTNER MOVES - Former chief of SEC’s national asset management unit Dabney O’Riordan joins Fried Frank

Fried Frank announced that Dabney O’Riordan has joined the firm as a partner in both the Litigation Department and the Asset Management Practice, based in Washington, DC. She joins from Quinn Emanuel, where she was a partner in the firm’s securities enforcement defense practice.

PARTNER MOVES - Garrigues bolsters its construction and infrastructure practice in Chile, with the incorporation of Rodrigo Riquelme as partner

Garrigues has brought Rodrigo Riquelme on board at the Santiago de Chile office, where he will assume responsibility for the construction and infrastructure practice, reinforcing the firm’s offer both in the public and private sectors. His appointment is subject to ratification at the next Garrigues Partners’ Meeting.
