International law firm Ashurst announces the appointment of partner Andrew Craig in its corporate division in Melbourne.

Allen & Overy has hired employment specialist, Vicky Wickremeratne, as a partner in London. She joins from Simmons & Simmons where she became a partner in May 2015.

Prior to rejoining Simmons & Simmons in 2013 (she was first hired by them in 2003), Vicky was based in Hong Kong as managing director and senior counsel, Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C.  In this position, she managed the Employment Law Group across the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, she has held other roles at De Beers Group, Pinsent Curtis and Linklaters.

Reed Smith announced the addition of two partners to its Labor & Employment practice in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Jennifer Terry and Mark Phillips join the firm from Arent Fox where they were both partners.

Amanda Kramer, former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, has joined Covington’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice in New York as a partner.

Law firm RPC's global dispute resolution capability has received a further boost with the hire of Russia/CIS specialist Tatiana Minaeva. A Russian, English and German speaker, Tatiana joins the firm's London office and will have a particular focus supporting clients across Russia, other CIS states and Eastern Europe, as well as in Israel and Turkey.

Eversheds Sutherland has appointed Gaëlle Le Quillec and Julien Fouret who join from Betto Seraglini, a boutique legal arbitration practice in Paris. Both join as partners, and started on Monday 9 September. Gaëlle and Julien are highly experienced in both commercial and investment arbitration, and both regularly sit as arbitrators.

DLA Piper announced that Dr. Tim Arndt has joined the firm's New York office as a partner in the Corporate practice. While Arndt will be resident in the firm's New York office, he will divide his time between New York and Frankfurt as well as other offices of the firm's international network to cater to the global transactional needs of DLA Piper's international client base.

Global law firm Clyde & Co has today announced the appointment of Estelle Machell as a partner in the firm's Casualty insurance team.

Estelle joins from Keoghs and specialises in large loss catastrophic injury and major bodily injury cases. Her experience includes work with insurer clients on all aspects of motor claims, employers' liability, public liability and agricultural claims, in addition to advising on indemnity issues. Estelle is re-joining Clyde & Co having left in 2013 following 9 years at the firm.
