Temenos acquires Multifonds to broaden its portfolio of mission-critical banking software

Temenos Group AG, the market leading provider of mission-critical software for financial institutions globally acquired IGEFI Group s.à.r.l. (trading as Multifonds), a Summit Partners portfolio company. The consideration for the acquisition is EUR 235 million to be funded through cash and debt.

Homburger advised Temenos Group AG in Swiss legal aspects of the acquisition and, in particular, its financing.

Cancellation of the tender for the awarding of the public procurement contract for the management of newspaper kiosks in Paris

In a decision dated 9 April 2015, the Paris Administrative Court (Tribunal administratif de Paris) cancelled the tender for the awarding of the public procurement contract for the management of newspaper kiosks in Paris. The judge considered that the City of Paris, which initiated this tender, had not complied with tendering competitive rules by using a competitive dialogue procedure and ruling out the Extérion Média and Derichebourg consortium.

KOMBIT, the joint IT partnership of the Danish municipalities, has sold three properties to PensionDanmark, Denmark’s largest labour market pension fund, for DKK 1.2 billion.

The three properties are of high quality and are located in Ballerup, Odense and Aalborg. The properties have a total gross floor area of more than 88,000 square metres. The IT company KMD is leasing the properties and will continue to do so after the transaction.

DLA Piper represents Autodesk in lease negotiation in Boston's Seaport District

DLA Piper represented Autodesk, a 3D design software firm, in the negotiation of a 70,000-square-foot lease, with the option to occupy an additional 50,000 square feet, in the Innovation and Design Building in Boston’s Seaport District.

The new office will span three floors and also be the site of the new “Building Innovation Learning & Design” space, which brings together students, entrepreneurs and researchers to explore new tools.

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Eltel Group Corporation on the purchase of Edi.Son Energietechnik GmbH. Eltel is a leading European provider of technical services for critical infrastructure networks (Infranet), with a strong presence in the Nordic and Baltic regions, Poland and the United Kingdom.

The acquisition of Eltel will further strengthen the sectors of energy transfer and energy distribution in Germany. The acquisition is as yet subject to merger control clearance.

Approved by the Saudi Capital Market Authority on 31 March 2015, the sale of 7.2 million shares representing 30% of SACO's share capital.

Operating across 12 cities in Saudi Arabia, hardware retailing and wholesaling giant SACO was founded in 1984 and has 23 retail outlets.
