Ashurst advises Warburg-HIH Invest on acquisition of TurmCarrée building in Frankfurt

Ashurst advised Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate GmbH (Warburg-HIH Invest) on the acquisition of the mixed-use property development "TurmCarrée" in the city of Frankfurt by way of an asset deal. The property was sold by the Engel and Kolb families. The acquisition was made for the portfolio of the 'TOP 7 Deutsche Metropolen Immobilien Invest' open-ended property special fund, which was set up for institutional investors in cooperation with NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank.

White & Case Advises IMA on Acquisition of Medtech Businesses from Komax Group

White & Case LLP has advised IMA Industria Macchine Automatiche, and its subsidiary GIMA, on its acquisition of Komax Systems LCF and Komax Systems Rockford and a 76 percent holding in Komax Systems Malaysia, companies based in Switzerland, the United States and Malaysia  respectively.

IMA is a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and tea and coffee. It has been listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since 1995.

Gide, counsel to Frey on the EUR 143.5-million acquisition of a portfolio of retail park commercial assets

Gide has advised real estate investment company Frey on the acquisition of a portfolio of commercial assets for EUR 143.5 billion.

The portfolio includes a retail park of 35 outlets (28,000 m² of GLA) located in the north of France (Douai-Dechy) and further assets located in the greater Paris area (Maurepas and Villiers-sur-Marne) and in the provinces (particularly Bordeaux, Rennes, Toulon and Arras). The portfolio covers nine different sites, 70 lease agreements, and approximately 77,000 m² of GLA.

Hogan Lovells and Chammas & Marcheteau advised on the sale of RSI Video Technologies (RSI) to Honeywell for approximately $123 million (€113 million).
