GÖRG advises on turbine supply and service agreement for Phase II of the Trianel Borkum Wind Farm

[Cologne, 2016-12-05] GÖRG has advised Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum II GmbH & Co. KG (TWB II) during its call for tenders, negotiation and conclusion of a turbine supply and service agreement with Senvion for Phase II of the Trianel Borkum Wind Farm. Currently, the entry into force of the agreement is subject to the issue of the construction decision. In particular, we advised on the structuring and development of the agreement as well as on the EU-wide tender procedure. We also assisted during negotiations with bidders and in the discussions with the financing banks.

Allen & Overy guides NSW Government on selection of common custodian

Sydney – Allen & Overy has advised the NSW Treasury, NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp), SAS Trustee Corporation (State Super) and Insurance and Care NSW (icare), on the selection process for a common custodian, drawing on its international expertise to deliver a favourable outcome for the NSW Government.

The NSW Treasurer today announced that following a competitive tender process JP Morgan had been selected to provide a single custodial service for the three key pools of assets operated by the State Government: TCorp, State Super and icare.

The teams of international law firm Gide, alongside those of Ivorian firm ADKA, coordinated by Michel Pitron (Gide) and Adama Kamara (ADKA), advised State companies Société Nationale d’Opérations Pétrolières de la Côte d’Ivoire (PETROCI-Holding) and Société des Energies de Côte d'Ivoire (CI-Energies), on building a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply terminal in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

Clyde & Co advises Brighton College on new international school in Dubai

Global law firm Clyde & Co has advised Brighton College on the establishment of a new international school in Dubai.

The school, opening in Dubai in partnership with UAE-based Bloom Education, will be located within an 89,000 sqm campus in Al Barsha South, which will also include a Centre of Excellence for the Arabic Language, Culture and the Arts. Brighton College Dubai will offer a K-12 British curriculum.

As part of another ground-breaking mandate, Linklaters has advised the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEx”) on the establishment of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect.

The programme will create trading and clearing links that enable Hong Kong and overseas investors to trade in securities listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Mainland Chinese investors to trade in securities listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

Ince & Co advises Golar on West Africa’s first regional LNG import hub

 Ince & Co LLP has advised long-standing client Golar on its participation in the CI-GNL (Ivory Coast LNG) consortium, which has been awarded the rights to build and operate an LNG re-gasification terminal with a floating storage and re-gasification unit (FSRU) in the Ivory Coast.

This project will allow for regional and domestic LNG demand to be met and make the Ivory Coast the first regional LNG import hub in West Africa. The terminal has a planned capacity of 3 million tonnes per annum and operations are expected to start mid-2018.
