WBD advises Hearthstone Residential Fund 1 on its single largest deal with a major housebuilder

WBD has advised Hearthstone Investment Management's private equity fund, Hearthstone Residential Fund 1 (HRF1), on its single largest deal to date with a major national housebuilder, to acquire 72 houses.

In a significant multi-site deal with a national housebuilder, HRF1 has agreed to purchase 72 two, three and four bedroom houses scheduled to be completed this year. The new build homes are located in Exeter (28), Bicester (11), Rugby (9) and Pontefract (24).

Osborne Clarke advises Foresight and KIS KIAMCO on wind park acquisitions

Osborne Clarke has advised the British Foresight Group LLP and the Korean KIS KIAMCO German Wind Fund on the acquisition of the wind parks Krackow-Glasow and Seubersdorf 2 from the German wpd group. The wind parks have a total installed capacity of more than 50 MW and consist of 17 wind turbines. The  transaction allows KIS KIAMCO to enter the German renewable energy market for the first time. The Korean fund plans to further invest in Germany and Europe.

Dentons advises on JD Group's disposal of FTLife Insurance

Dentons is advising Tongchuangjiuding Investment Management Group Co., Ltd ("JD Group" or "Jiuding"), on its HK$21.5 billion (US$2.74 billion) disposal of its 100% equity interest in FTLife Insurance Company Limited ("FTLife") to NWS Holdings Limited (0659.HK), the infrastructure, logistics and transport services unit of conglomerate New World Development Limited (0017.HK). Jiuding previously acquired FTLife from Ageas, a Brussels-based insurance firm for US$1.4 billion back in 2016. FTLife is one of Hong Kong's biggest life insurance firms.

DWF advises on sale of software specialist Magique Galileo to Sword GRC

DWF has advised the shareholders of software solutions business, Magique Galileo Software, on its sale to Sword GRC, a supplier of specialist risk management software and services, for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see London-based Magique Galileo become part of Sword GRC, which has offices in the UK, USA, Asia and Australia, enabling the newly expanded business to offer a range of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) software and services.

Norton Rose Fulbright advises Enel Green Power on the $605m financing for a 1 GW portfolio of solar PV parks in Mexico

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Enel Green Power S.p.A. (EGP), as sponsor, and three project companies as borrowers (Villanueva Solar, Parque Solar Don Jose and Parque Solar Villanueva Tres) on a $605m limited recourse financing of a 1 GW portfolio of solar PV parks in Mexico comprised of: Villanueva I (470 MW), Villanueva III (350 MW) and Don Jose (220 MW). EGP entered the Mexican renewables market in 2008 and is currently the main clean energy operator in the country.
