ROME – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has represented Istituto per il Credito Sportivo (ICS) in connection with  €150 million framework loan agreement with the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) to support the financing of sports facilities in Italy.

The signing ceremony was hosted in Rome’s Palazzo Chigi, the official residence of Italy’s Prime Minister, in the presence of the Secretary of State On. Giancarlo Giorgetti.

Gide on the EUR 39.2 million Euro PP financing by Financière Apsys

Gide advised the Dealers, Banque Degroof Petercam and Invest Securities, on the Euro PP by Financière Apsys of its EUR 39.2 million due November 2023 combining a EUR 29.2 million bond issue and a EUR 10 million loan. The notes are admitted to trading on Euronext Access Paris.

Gide's team was led by partner Hubert du Vignaux, assisted by senior associate Bastien Raisse and associate Laure Bellenger.

Arsenal invests in 3MW battery to support UK’s low carbon plans

Burges Salmon has advised funders Downing LLP and project developer Pivot Power on the installation of a behind-the-meter battery storage system (BSS) at Emirates Stadium.  The battery will store enough energy to run Emirates Stadium from kick-off to full time on match days. The 3MW/3.7MWh BSS, the first at a UK football club and one of the largest at any sports ground in the world, will bring immediate benefits to the club, cutting electricity bills and supporting a low-carbon grid.

Dentons acted as legal counsel to DTEK Renewables B.V. on the signing of a contract with General Electric regarding the supply of 26 modern wind turbines for the second phase of Prymorska wind farm. This additional equipment doubles Prymorska’s generating capacity to the 200 MW, and the total sum of investments is estimated at €150 million.
