Mayer Brown Private Equity team advises The Halifax Group on the sale of Pirtek Europe

London – Mayer Brown's Private Equity team has advised The Halifax Group and Management on the sale of Pirtek Europe, the leading on-site provider of hydraulic hose replacement and associated services across Europe, to PNC Riverarch Capital, a US-based private equity firm. Transaction terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 1988, Pirtek Europe has 185 service centres and 750 mobile units across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden.

Clifford Chance advises on landmark US$4 billion bond issuance by PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium Persero (Inalum)

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised BNP Paribas, Citigroup and MUFG as joint global coordinators and BNP Paribas, CIMB, Citigroup, Maybank, MUFG, SMBC Nikko and Standard Chartered Bank as joint bookrunners and joint lead managers on the US$4 billion bond issuance by Indonesian state-owned mining company PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium Persero (Inalum).

The deal is the largest-ever US dollar corporate security from a non-financial issuer in Indonesia and among the largest in Asia this year.

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised AUCTUS Capital Partners AG (“AUCTUS”) on the financing of its acquisition of Robert Bürkle GmbH. The financing consisted of senior loans arranged by Oldenburgische Landesbank Aktiengesellschaft and Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien AG as well as a mezzanine facility and preferred equity provided by funds managed by Beechbrook Capital. The seller was Nimbus Investment.

We advised Inypsa Renovables on the sale of three photovoltaic plants to Eliantus, a company of the firm Eland Private Equity. This new deal reaffirms CMS as a leading firm in the energy market, in particular in the industry of solar power.

Baker McKenzie and RMT work on the acquisition of 15 KFC restaurants by AmRest Holdings SE

Baker McKenzie has advised AmRest Holdings SE on the framework of the acquisition of 15 restaurants operated under the KFC brand from KFC France SAS. The acquisition was accompanied by the conclusion of a franchise agreement for each of the 15 restaurants. The transaction is valued at approximately 33.3 million euros.

LONDON – Reed Smith has advised Telereal Trillium, one of the UK’s largest property companies, on the corporate sale of the Hayhill Portfolio to Elite UK Commercial Limited for £282.15 million.

The portfolio, legally and beneficially held by London Wall Outsourcing Holdings Limited, has a combined annual rent of £23.29m and comprises of 97 regional offices let to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) on new, 10-year FRI leases, commencing on 1 April 2018.
