WFW advises DC-Datacenter-Group on a strategic partnership with MVV

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) has advised DC-Datacenter-Group GmbH (“DC-Datacenter-Group“) on its new strategic partnership with MVV, an energy company headquartered in Mannheim, Germany.

As part of the partnership, MVV has acquired a 25.1% stake in DC-Datacenter-Group, an international database management company based in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate and founded in 2005. The company focusses on the design, establishment and operation of data centres for both private companies and public institutions.

Simpson Thacher Represents International Joint Lead Managers in Follow-On Offering of Daiwa House REIT

The Firm recently represented the international joint lead managers in connection with a follow-on offering of Daiwa House REIT Investment Corporation, which included an international offering to institutional investors pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S. The offering raised approximately ¥52.7 billion (approximately US$502 million) for the issuer, which will be used with bank financing to fund the acquisition of additional logistics, retail and hotel properties. Morgan Stanley, Daiwa Capital Markets Europe and Nomura acted as international joint lead managers for the offering.
