MB Funds becomes partner and majority shareholder of Pohjolan Energia Oy to support the company’s growth and international expansion. The current owners continue in key management roles and as significant shareholders in the company.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Comvest Credit Partners on its final close of Comvest Capital IV, L.P., and affiliated funds (the Fund) with total equity commitments of $836 million, exceeding the initial fundraising target of $650 million. Together with fund-level leverage, total available capital is expected to exceed $1.2 billion.

Mason Hayes & Curran Advises On Solar Farms in Ireland

Mason Hayes & Curran advised the NTMA, as controller and manager of Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), on its co-investment with Capital Stage AG, a German stock market listed solar and wind park operator, in a €140 million fund to develop solar farms in Ireland.

The parties have committed to co-invest a total of €140 million and it is expected to lead to the development of 20 solar farms in Ireland with a total generating capacity of up to 140 MW (power for 25,000 homes). This is ISIF’s first investment in solar assets.

The Firm represented affiliates of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (“KKR”) on the sale of its remaining stake in Pets at Home Group Plc (“Pets at Home”). The secondary offering, which was effected pursuant to a block trade by way of an accelerated book build, raised gross sale proceeds of approximately £108 million.
