Proskauer has added Peter Mason as a partner in its Global Finance practice in London. His arrival strengthens the firm’s European leveraged finance capabilities at a time of continued growth and momentum.

Peter advises lenders, sponsors, and corporations on complex financings across the capital structure, including European and U.S.-style Term Loan B, bank/bond, and direct lending deals. His experience spans leveraged and investment-grade transactions, real estate financings, and restructurings.

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has announced the appointment of Ester Chow as a Partner in its Financial Markets practice, based in Hong Kong, effective 18 August 2025.

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has appointed Jack Kennedy as Partner to its Construction & Engineering practice in Ireland. This latest appointment is the second partner to the firm’s Construction & Engineering team in Dublin this year, reflecting the growing market demand and the firm’s strategic investment in its construction law capabilities.

In a move that further strengthens Pillsbury’s well-established international Real Estate practice with an emphasis on global Private Capital capabilities, the firm has welcomed highly regarded dealmakers Nellie Camerik and Pejman Razavilar. The two join from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, bringing almost 60 years of combined experience and a host of strong institutional relationships with prominent capital allocators, institutional developers, family offices, and real estate sponsors nationwide.

Bobby Singh has joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a Partner in the Firm’s Regulatory Affairs group, the international law firm announced. Bobby joins Dorsey from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), where he led the Regulatory Law Group for the Office of General Counsel and prior to TVA was Deputy General Counsel at Duke Energy Corporation, where he led all transactional, litigation, and regulatory matters for Duke Energy’s regulated wholesale business, commodities trading, and renewables development.

Kirkland & Ellis announced that product liability and mass tort litigator Nils B. (Burt) Snell has joined the Firm as a partner.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP expanded its Corporate Practice with the addition of Joe Awad as a shareholder in the Orange County and Los Angeles offices. He previously worked at The Gores Group, an investment firm based in Beverly Hills, where he most recently served as the firm’s vice president and general counsel.
