King & Spalding announced that Daniel Daneshrad has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate and Funds practice group. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

Daneshrad has broad-based experience advising clients on all aspects of fund formation, including fund structure, formation, ongoing operations, regulatory compliance, governance, joint venture transactions and continuation funds. He represents all types of fund sponsors in raising real estate, energy and infrastructure, buyout, credit and venture capital funds.

Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP announced that it has added an elite corporate team consisting of five partners and several associates. The partners include prominent capital markets and M&A lawyers Edward Best, Jennifer Carlson, John Ablan, Esther Chang and Susan Rabinowitz. They are based in Willkie’s Chicago office. 

Further enhancing its leading global tax practice and global corporate platform more broadly, Paul Hastings LLP announced that Daniel Nicholas has joined the firm as a partner in Washington, D.C.

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced that David Holdsworth will join the firm in London as a partner in the Private Equity Group within the Corporate Department. Holdsworth is currently partner and general counsel at TDR Capital, a leading private investment firm with over €15 billion of assets under management, and was previously a senior corporate partner in private practice with deep experience in private equity and public M&A.

He was previously a partner with McDermott Will & Emery.

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery welcomes John Burge as a partner in its Transactions Practice Group in London. John focuses on leveraged finance, special situations, acquisitions and other event-driven finance and restructurings.
