PARTNER MOVES - Mayer Brown adds former chief counsel to SEC chairman and US house speaker to lead congressional investigations group
Mayer Brown announced that Kimberly Hamm has joined the firm as a partner in its Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Public Policy, Regulatory & Government Affairs practices. A former chief counsel to both former Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Jay Clayton and US Speaker of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy, and a four-year veteran of the House of Representatives’ Office of General Counsel, Kim will lead the firm’s Congressional Investigations group. She will reside in the firm’s Washington DC office.
