The renowned global firm Dentons takes a significant step in reinforcing its legal services with the addition of the distinguished lawyer Edward Sánchez as a partner in the white collar crime and compliance practice are in the Lima office. The arrival of Sánchez, a lawyer from the Pontifica Universidad Católica del Perú and a specialist in criminal litigation, economic crime, and corruption of officials, marks a milestone in the expansion and consolidation of the firm's legal practice.

A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has appointed four new partners – two in Dublin, one in Belfast and one in London. The firm has also appointed one new of counsel in Dublin.

Malek Al Rifai has joined King & Spalding LLP as a real estate partner in its Corporate, Finance and Investments (CFI) practice. Al Rifai is based in the UAE, but will focus on a combination of UAE, Saudi Arabian and other matters across the wider MENA region with support from the firm’s real estate lawyers in the Middle East, Europe, UK and U.S. offices.

Reed Smith announced that insurance recovery lawyer Arthur Armstrong has joined the firm’s Insurance Recovery Practice Group as a partner in Philadelphia. Armstrong has more than 15 years of legal experience with insurance recoveries, exclusively on behalf of corporate policyholders.

Armstrong joins Reed Smith from Flaster Greenberg where he was a shareholder. Prior to that, he was a shareholder at Anderson Kill. His practice focuses on representation of privately held and publicly traded companies on insurance recovery, with a particular focus on cyber and D&O issues.
