PARTNER MOVES - Baker McKenzie recruits data and technology partner, Vinod Bange

Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has hired Vinod Bange as a partner in the Data Privacy & Security team, which sits within the Firm's IP, Data & Technology practice. Vinod will lead Baker McKenzie's London Data Team, joining the Firm's Global Data Privacy and Security Leadership.

Vinod joins Baker McKenzie from Taylor Wessing, where he was Head of Data and Cyber and co-chaired its 29 office International Tech & Data Practice.

Simon is a Swiss qualified lawyer and has extensive experience in domestic and international commercial litigation, asset recovery and bankruptcy proceedings as well as Swiss corporate law.

James Lonsdale and Raj Pabla join the firm’s Manchester and London offices respectively. 

James Lonsdale, a commercial lawyer, joins from DWF as partner in Hill Dickinson’s Manchester TMT and IP team.

Michael has significant experience in financial regulation acting for banks, fund managers and financial technology firms. He also has a particular interest in ESG and cryptocurrency.

Michael joins from the London office of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP where he has been practising for the past three years, having started his career at Slaughter and May.
