Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has continued to expand its market-leading commodities practice with the hire of senior structured trade and commodity finance partner Matthew Cox.

Matthew joins HFW's London office on 6 April from Simmons & Simmons. He was previously Singapore Managing Partner at Dentons.

Dentons, the world's largest law firm, has announced that partner Fermín Garbayo will join the Madrid office in April 2021 as Head of the Energy practice in Spain.

Daniel joins the firm from Greenberg Traurig, where he worked as a partner specialising in structured corporate transactions for real estate investors, asset managers, developers, lenders, private equity funds and family offices.
