Noel has 25 years’ experience in the legal sector, including 20 years in family law working on high profile cases.

International law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed partners Johanna Weißbach and Christian Schmidt as litigation partners in their Dispute Resolution Group in Munich, where they will both focus on clients within the Financial Services and Advanced Manufacturing & Technology sectors.

Following their former colleague Martin Eimer, Johanna and Christian both join from Freshfields. Having worked together for many years on high-end litigation and arbitration matters at Freshfields, the three of them are a well-established team and will now work together again at Pinsent Masons.

UK-headquartered law firm RPC has hired professional indemnity specialist Scott Ashby as Partner to join the firm's leading insurance team in Bristol. Scott joins from Beale & Co, where he acted for a wide variety of national and international firms, defending them against claims brought against lawyers and accountants. Scott joined RPC on 30 March 2020.
