Global law firm Clyde & Co has announced the appointment of Alan Joaquin as a partner in its global insurance practice.

Alan joins the firm's Washington, DC office from Drinker Biddle, having previously been a prosecutor with the US Department of Justice.

Alan brings 25 years' experience of coverage litigation in the professional liability, D&O, fidelity bond and cyber areas. In recent years, cyber risk, privacy and cyber extortion has grown to become a key element of his practice.

Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce the appointment of Thekla Fellas as a new Partner in the Real Estate Litigation team. Thekla will join the team on 1 April 2019.

A prominent real estate disputes lawyer, Thekla joins from Fladgate LLP where she was head of real estate litigation for six years, and previously was a partner at DAC Beachcroft. She holds dual qualifications, having initially been called to the Bar in 1992 before qualifying as a solicitor in 1999.
