PARTNER MOVES - Akin Gump to Welcome Two Leading Private Equity Funds Partners in London

Akin Gump announced that private equity funds lawyers Daniel Quinn and Aleksander Bakic will join the firm in London as partners.

Mr. Quinn and Mr. Bakic focus on private equity secondary transactions, institutional investor representations and private equity fund formation. They will come to Akin Gump from O’Melveny & Myers in London. They will join the firm’s investment management practice and transactional platform in London and will work closely with established teams across the United States and Asia.

Allen & Overy announces the appointment of Tim Watson as a restructuring partner into its London practice.

Tim re-joins A&O from a leading global institutional investment management firm with assets under management in excess of USD30 billion, where he has spent the past four years working closely with and advising the distressed investment desk on transactions across Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to this he was a senior associate in A&O’s restructuring team.

International law firm Clifford Chance has appointed Toby Parkinson as a partner in the firm's multi-award-winning European Infrastructure Group, based in London.
Toby began his career at Clifford Chance's London office in 2006, and worked in the firm's Infrastructure and Private Equity practice for ten years, where he specialised in infrastructure transactions and cross-border M&A. During this time, he also spent three years in the firm's Tokyo office, advising on M&A transactions in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
