LONDON, February 22, 2019: Morgan Lewis has advised Connect Airways Limited, a consortium comprising Cyrus Capital Partners, Virgin Atlantic and Stobart Aviation, and Cyrus Capital Partners in the completion of the acquisition of Flybe.

The agreement pertains to the acquisition of Flybe Group PLC's operating subsidiaries, Flybe Limited (including Flybe Aviation Services Limited) and Flybe.com Limited.

GSK Stockmann provided comprehensive legal advice to the global real estate investment company Westbrook Partners on the purchase of the "Fritz" office building in Düsseldorf’s business district “Seestern.” The seller is Deka Immobilien GmbH. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

Gide, counsel to Raise Immobilier on its acquisition of a hotel complex in Paris

As part of its investment strategy focused on office properties and the conversion of tertiary assets, Raise REIM, the property branch of group Raise, has recently acquired a hotel asset in the 19th arrondissement of Paris (La Villette).

This complex includes a Holiday Inn Express with 144 rooms, a youth hostel with 350 beds and a La Criee restaurant with a seating capacity of 200. In operation since 2008, the establishment is the leading yield generator for Raise REIM.

WFW advises lenders on “Malaspina” Argentine onshore wind project financing

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised a syndicate of lenders comprising Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau and Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V., as well as KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH as arranger and agent, on the US$104m financing of the “Malaspina” onshore wind farm project located in the southern Argentine province of Chubut. The loan documentation was signed in December 2018, with the transaction closing in January 2019.

White & Case Advises Credit Bank of Moscow on €500 Million Eurobond Offering

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Credit Bank of Moscow on its offering of €500 million 5.15 percent Eurobonds due 2024.

The notes are dual listed on the regulated markets of Euronext Dublin and the Vienna Stock Exchange.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Darina Lozovsky (Moscow & London) and local partner Dmitry Lapshin (Moscow), and included counsel Doron Loewinger (London) and associates Renat Akhmetzyanov and Yulia Akulinina (both Moscow).

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced that another two partners – Jessica Davies and David Jewkes – are joining its Perth office in the corporate M&A team to expand its growing energy and resources practice.

The appointments follow the addition of Paul Lingard (formerly Clifford Chance) and Miriam D’Souza (formerly Herbert Smith Freehills) last year. Mr Lingard is now the firm’s co-head of the energy industry group for Asia Pacific.

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced that Vic Domen, an antitrust and investigations lawyer, has joined its Washington, DC office as a partner.

Vic, regarded as one of the top three US antitrust enforcers, comes to Norton Rose Fulbright from the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office, where he served as its senior antitrust counsel. For nearly 20 years, Vic was the lead lawyer in the investigation and prosecution of federal and state antitrust matters brought on behalf of the State of Tennessee.
