Slaughter and May is advising Swire Beverages Holdings Limited on its proposed joint venture for Hong Kong’s first dedicated PET and HDPE recycling facility

 

Slaughter and May, Hong Kong is advising Swire Beverages Holdings Limited (SBHL) on its proposed joint venture with ALBA Group Asia Limited (ALBA) and Baguio Waste Management & Recycling Limited (Baguio) to build and operate Hong Kong’s first dedicated PET and HDPE recycling facility. The mechanical recycling facility is intended to be built on T6, a plot within the EcoPark in Hong Kong.

In a significant vote of confidence for the Irish offshore wind industry, Parkwind and ESB have agreed to co-develop the proposed 330MW Oriel offshore wind project and the proposed 500MW Clogherhead project, each to be located off the north east coast of Ireland. Partners John Dallas and Richard Grey advised Parkwind on the transaction.

DLA Piper has announced that Matt Denn, who has served as Delaware's attorney general since 2015, has joined the firm's Litigation practice as a partner in Wilmington.

As attorney general, Denn supervised more than 200 attorneys, representing all state agencies and boards, prosecuting criminal cases, and enforcing consumer protection, data privacy and other statutes. He led efforts in the Delaware General Assembly to combat the opioid crisis, reform criminal justice statutes and improve data security and privacy statutes.
