Simmons & Simmons advises Gazeley on the acquisition of new warehouses

The Paris office of the international law firm Simmons & Simmons advised Gazeley, GLP's European platform, on the acquisition of a logistics fleet of three warehouses.

The three assets consist of two warehouses of 20,000m² each, and a 42,000m² warehouse, strategically located in the town of Saint-Martin-de-Crau, between the A7 and A54 motorways. This allows quick and easy access to the port of Marseille, near to which lies Gazeley’s, hitherto sole, warehouse in Fos-sur-Mer, measuring 24,000m².

Jochen Pörtge advises and represents companies in connection with white-collar criminal investigations, internal investigations, enforcement, and anti-bribery compliance. Dr Pörtge joined Clifford Chance in 2010, most recently acting as Counsel.

Judith specialises in commercial litigation with a focus on PFI/ projects disputes, contentious construction and professional negligence. She also has extensive experience of commercial and contractual disputes, corporate disputes including breach of warranty and shareholder disputes, and breach of confidentiality claims.

McCann FitzGerald advises Lakeland Dairies on merger with LacPatrick

We are advising Lakeland Dairies on its proposed merger with LacPatrick.  The merger is subject to Lakeland and LacPatrick shareholder approval, together with regulatory approvals and, if implemented, would create the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland with a milk pool of 1.8bn litres and annual revenues in excess of €1bn.

("TMD"), based in Toledo, Ohio (USA). The TMD Group is a specialist in the development and production of thermoplastic products and applications mainly for vehicle interiors for the automotive and automotive supply industry. The acquisition closed on 1 October 2018.
