CMS advises US electrotechnology company AMETEK on acquisition of camera technology specialist Motec

Frankfurt/Main – the listed American AMETEK, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of electronic measuring instruments and electromechanical devices, has acquired all shares in Motec GmbH, a leading provider of integrated vision systems serving the high growth mobile machine vision market. Details of the transaction value have not been disclosed.

Proskauer Advises BlueBay on €135 Million Italian Mini-Bond Financing for DADA

International law firm Proskauer was proud to represent funds managed and advised by BlueBay Asset Management in the €135 million financing provided to DADA, one of the leading names in the European domain and hosting segment.

DADA is a pan-European online hosting business headquartered in Florence, Italy and it is majority owned by Hg Capital. Hg acquired a majority interest in DADA in October 2017 and bought out the remaining shares by way of a tender offer in February 2018. The debt financing was provided by BlueBay by way of an Italian mini-bond.

Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters including, Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C. and Credit Suisse, in connection with the initial public offering and listing on the NASDAQ Global Market of the American Depository Shares (ADSs) of Aurora Mobile Limited (“Aurora Mobile”). The offering of 9,060,000 ADSs, representing 6,040,000 Class A common shares, raised a total of US$71.7 million in gross proceeds from the IPO before the exercise of underwriters’ overallotment option.
