Holland & Knight has strengthened its Public Policy & Regulation Group with the addition of Sara Peters as a partner in Washington, D.C. Ms. Peters has nearly 10 years of experience working in government and on Capitol Hill, as well as 10 years in the private sector focused on the automotive industry.

Linklaters is pleased to announce that Elena Rubinov has joined the firm’s Corporate practice as Head of US Infrastructure and Private Capital M&A in New York. Elena’s arrival continues a series of high-profile US hires for Linklaters this year, including within the firm’s M&A, Restructuring & Insolvency, International Arbitration and Finance practices.

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP announced that Dan Peach will join the Firm’s London office as a Partner, where he will focus on leveraged finance matters.

Global law firm Clifford Chance has hired private equity partner Vince Ferrito following the recent arrivals of David Schultz and Matthew Hinker to its US Private Equity and Restructuring and Insolvency practices. All three partners joined from O'Melveny.

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced that Elizabeth “Liz” Stotland Weiswasser and Anish R. Desai will join the firm as partners in its Litigation Department, resident in New York. Liz, who will be co-chair of the Litigation Department, and Anish are nationally recognized for their success representing life sciences and technology clients in their most significant complex commercial disputes.

Global law firm Goodwin announced that Codrina Constantinescu will join the firm’s Private Investment Funds practice as partner in the Luxembourg office.

Erik Woodhouse, formerly the deputy assistant secretary for the Division for Counter Threat Finance and Sanctions at the U.S. Department of State, has returned to Crowell & Moring as a partner in the firm’s International Trade and Financial Services groups.  

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons welcomes Rena L. Scott to the partnership in the Middle East.

Rena is an arbitration specialist in construction disputes internationally and comes with a focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Rena will join the team in Riyadh where she will head up the construction advisory and disputes practice.

Specialising in international arbitration and dispute resolution, Rena has a particular focus on complex and high-value disputes involving major construction, energy and infrastructure projects including consortia and joint ventures.

DLA Piper is strengthening its German real estate practice with the appointment of Dr Gerold Jaeger as partner in its Dusseldorf office, effective 1 January 2025.

Dr Gerold Jaeger has worked for Clifford Chance since 2004 and was appointed partner there in 2013. He primarily advises clients on real estate transactions and general real estate law matters as well as non-performing loan and portfolio transactions. He also specialises in the transfer of real estate portfolios, project developments and real estate financing.
